1. Simple Setup: Creating a new dashboard is a breeze. Users can add a dashboard directly from the sidebar by selecting "Dashboards" and then clicking on "+ Add Dashboard." If prompted, they can choose Easy Dashboard, name it, and select which devices or features to include.
2. Accessibility: Once created, dashboards can be accessed locally or remotely through URLs that can be opened in any browser or via the Hubitat Elevation mobile app. This flexibility ensures that users can control their smart home devices from anywhere.
3. User-Friendly Interface: The grid-based layout allows for easy organization of tiles representing various devices and functionalities. Users can quickly view the status of their devices and control them with just a few taps.
4. Editing Options: Users can edit their dashboards easily by toggling the edit mode on. This allows for the addition or removal of devices and adjustments to layout preferences without hassle.

How to Create an Easy Dashboard Instance

1. Access the Dashboards Section:
   • From the sidebar of your Hubitat hub, select Dashboards.
2. Add a New Dashboard:
   • In the top right corner, click on + Add Dashboard.
3. Select Easy Dashboard:
   • If prompted, choose Easy Dashboard. If you do not see any options, an Easy Dashboard will be created by default.
4. Name Your Dashboard:
   • When prompted, provide a name for your new dashboard. This name should be easy to identify.
5. Select Devices to Include:
   • You will see a list of available devices on the left side. You can filter these devices by room or device type using the dropdown menus or search bar.
   • To add devices to your dashboard, select one or more devices from the left column and click the single right arrow to move them to the right column.
   • If you want to add all devices at once, click the double right arrow.
6. Create the Dashboard:
   • After selecting your desired devices, click on Create Dashboard to finish the setup. If you do not see this button, ensure that you have provided a name for your dashboard.
7. Accessing Your Dashboard:
   • To view or edit your dashboard in the future, simply select it from the list under Dashboards.
8. Editing Your Dashboard:
   • To edit devices authorized for a specific dashboard or enable/disable editing options, navigate back to the Dashboards section and find your dashboard.
   • If you do not see edit and delete icons next to your dashboard, click the gear icon in the top right corner to toggle edit mode on.
   • Click the edit icon next to your dashboard to add or remove devices and adjust layout preferences as needed.
